Granada Photo Gallery - Albaicin Part 1

After a tiring morning and early afternoon exploring the Alhambra, I needed a siesta to rest and also hide from the intense heat. With June's late sunset, I continued my sightseeing in the late afternoon exploring Albaicin, the Moorish quarter with narrow alleys and hidden secrets. I entered the district through Puerta Elvira.

The terrain rises quite quickly as the district rests along Granada's hillsides.

The view from the Mirador S. Cristobal is quite wide. Notice the old city walls are still largely intact.
