Completed in 1998, The Center rose out of an urban redevelopment project in the older parts
of Central district. With 73 stories rising 346 m, The Center is Hong Kong's 4th tallest
building. Designed by Dennis Lau, the building's star-shaped plan increases the amount of
natural light penetrating into the building. The building is transformed into a neon beacon
at night with a show of changing colours on all 4 sides.
