Krakow Trams Photo Gallery

Krakow has an extensive tram network with a mix of old and new rolling stock. Tickets vary in price depending on the time needed, although are quite cheap by European standards. For example, a 1-day ticket costs the equivalent of about EUR 3.5.

The interiors are nothing special - typical seats and relatively clean. You board through any doors and buy your ticket onboard. For multi-carriage trams, the ticket machine might be in the first car only.

Some tram lines run underground in the city as well. The stations are clean and signage is clear.

The City Engineering Museum has a wonderfully unknown tram exhibit in a separate depot away from the main building. I was delighted to enjoy this space all to myself.
