Havana Photo Gallery - Vieja Part 2

Tourist traffic in the southern stretches of the old town thinned out considerably, but the area still had a good share of historic churches, squares, and interesting street scenes.

The neighbourhood becomes more residential, with plenty of locals out and about doing their daily errands.

Heading back up north, the cruise terminal is conveniently-located steps from the historic centre. The buildings here look in worse condition and the waterfront promenade wasn't anything remarkable to write about.

Plaza Vieja's origins date from the late 16th century and the buildings surrounding it have been beautifully restored.

Cuba has many restored old American cars still running its streets.
