Hong Kong 2024 Art Exhibitions - The Fuyun Xuan Collection of Chinese Snuff Bottles

The Hong Kong Museum of Art received a donation of 490 sets of Chinese snuff bottles in 2023 from Mr. Christopher Sin and Mrs. Josephine Sin. These decorative bottles were popular among the upper classes and government officials during the Qing Dynasty, and were often given as gifts. Inside were tobacco leaves, herbs, and spices that have medicinal and stimulating effects.
