AllRightsReserved: Panda Go! Fest HK (December)

2 pandas gifted by Beijing to celebrate the handover arrived in Hong Kong in late September 2024. To celebrate the occasion, a series of panda-related events are taking place through the rest of the year.

Pandas are native to the bamboo forests of Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu. They are a class I protected animal and a national treasure.

AllRightsReserved organized a series of panda sculpture displays around the city throughout December 2024. 2500 strong, they are a tribute to the global panda population, which numbers about 1900 in the wild and a further 600 in captivity. Here, we find them at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Park near Sheung Wan.

Once the exhibition is over, 1000 of these sculptures will be sold with proceeds for Ocean Park's panda conservation program.
