The End of Wan Chai North

The East Rail's extension to Hong Kong Island forced the relocation of the old terminus at Wan Chai Ferry across the street to a temporary facility named Wan Chai North. As the new Exhibition Centre station finished construction, the reconstructed new bus terminus opened on May 14, and the old Wan Chai North terminus also closed on the same day.

Buses are now parked in the reverse direction at the new Exhibition Centre terminus. There have been complaints that the pedestrian barriers force passengers to walk a long way around to access the buildings behind it.
