Hong Kong Photo Gallery - CLP Pulse

The former CLP headquarters from 1940 to 2012 at the foot of Kadoorie Hill has been revitalized following a residential redevelopment. The Art Deco clock tower section of the building was retained and is now an exhibition space.

This clock tower is unique as it dates from before the war. At 2.4m in diameter, the 3 clocks on the tower were manufactured by Gents' of Leicester. The exterior tiles are reddish-brown, giving the appearance that the building is a dragon couching along the hill.

Upstairs, the exhibition focuses on the Kadoorie business and family history.

Outside in the garden is a retired 5th generation Peak Tram, which was introduced in 1989 and retired in 2021.
