Hong Kong Drone Gallery - Happy Valley & Jardine's Lookout

The back streets from the Happy Valley racecourse and slopes leading to Jardine's Lookout are a traditional upper class area with mostly short buildings and a quiet neighbourhood setting. However, if you are lucky to score an upper floor unit, you might be able to enjoy some skyline and harbour views.

This area is quite well-established with higher-end restaurants, a private hospital, and luxury social clubs. It's hard to believe this was once a mosquito-ridden swamp where malaria was rampant. The British built a racecourse here, which opened in 1845, changing the area's fate.
