Hong Kong Photo Gallery - Jellycat

Jellycat opened its first studios in London in 1999 and has hosted interactive "cooking" experiences at a few of their international locations featuring their plush toys. Founded by brothers Thomas and William Gatacre, the name came from Thomas' son who loved jelly and cats. Their products are now sold in over 75 countries and have a large adult following especially among Gen-Z and millennials.

In May 2026, it opened its first shop at Lane Crawford Harbour City with a yacht club theme, paying homage to the nearby Star Ferry. Some characters on offer related to the seafaring theme include a life ring, a sailor outfit bear, and a carp.

However, their products have been available in the city in other forms. In 2024, the first pop-up shop in the city opened at K11 Musea.
