Old Bus Stations

Located right at the waterfront, the Kwun Tong Ferry bus terminus still uses the old-style red and white shelters, with a covered section from the drop-off zone along the waterfront to the quiet ferry terminal.

Bus spotting here is decent as there is no other traffic and there are many quiet spaces to wait for the buses to come in and stop.

A short walk away, the much smaller Kwun Tong Station also has a similar layout.

Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry was once bustling with people as passengers connected from the ferries. Now, it's easy to cross the harbour by train underground although the old bus terminus remains the same.

So Uk Estate has been redeveloped but the bus station hasn't. Today's modern buses need to drive very slowly to enter the curved terminus.

The small Ngau Tau Kok terminus is wedged at the corner of an intersection, with the old public housing estates it once served redeveloped.
