Hong Kong Photo Gallery - The Wai Shopping Mall

The Wai opened in July 2023 next to Tai Wai station and a massive residential development on top. With a floor area of 650,000 square feet spread across 4 floors, it is home to some 150 shops catering to the middle class consumer. The opening comes as the city slowly starts to recover from the pandemic doldrums for the retail sector. The Pavilia Farm continues to be under construction on top of the mall at the time of its opening, with 2 towers being rebuilt after substandard concrete forced a demolition of the original structures.
