Hong Kong Photo Gallery - Kwun Tong's Yue Man Fong (2007-2012)

The Kwun Tong Town Centre redevelopment was first announced back in 1998. The site covers 5.35 hectares and the government aims to redevelop a series of old and dilapidated buildings into a new civic centre, commercial highrise, and residential quarters, affecting about 5000 residents. 2007 Below are some photos from before demolition, showing the dilapidated buildings that wrapped around the square.
