London Photo Gallery - Alfies Antique Market

Located at one end of Church Street's busy street market near Paddington station, Alfies Antique Market is London's biggest indoor antique and vintage market. The building was previously Jordan's Department Store, which was established in 1880 and operated until the 1970s. Bennie Gray purchased the building and named it after his father, Alfie, who dealt antiques in a stall on Church Street. The repurposed market opened in 1976 on one floor but soon expanded to 4 floors.
