Brent Cross Town is a huge new residential district of 6700 units now under construction across the street from the Brent Cross Shopping Centre. There will be over 50 acres of parks and public space, 3 million square feet of offices, and a new high street. The first residents moved in in early 2025, which included relocated residents from the demolished Whitefield Estate. The area is served by the Brent Cross West rail station, with Thameslink trains taking about 15 minutes to reach St. Pancras. To the south of the construction site is a well-manicured Claremont Park with playgrounds, toilets, and other facilities. It re-opened in 2022 with over 300 new trees, wildflower meadows, and a wetland habitat.
