London Photo Gallery - Jellycat @ Selfridges

Fancy plush toy maker Jellycat opened a pop-up store at Selfridges on Oxford Street in July 2024. For the rest of the year, they were offering a fish and chips experience with their plush toys.

Prices are not cheap, with the "Cosy Chips" experience costing 50 pounds, the "Lily Fish" experience 40, and individual plush toys from 20 pounds each, such as the lemon, vinegar, and salt shakers.

Jellycat opened its first studios in London in 1999 and has previously hosted these types of experiences in New York and Paris. Founded by brothers Thomas and William Gatacre, the name came from Thomas' son who loved jelly and cats. Their products are now sold in over 75 countries and have a large adult following especially among Gen-Z and millennials.
