One Leadenhall is yet another skyscraper development in the Square Mile, the heart of the City. This area has seen several large projects in recent years with new tall neighbours that have prompted UNESCO to re-think whether the Tower of London should retain its World Heritage status. The 400 million pound project backed by Canada's Bookfield was first approved in 2017. Rising 35 floors next to the historic Leadenhall Market, the building will house 422,000 square feet of offices with a further 8000 square feet of retail. In January 2023, you can't even see this project peek out in the skyline yet.

Many new buildings in the area have public spaces such as free observation decks. This building is a little different, placing this on the 4th floor with a south-facing terrace.
