London Photo Gallery - The Post Building Rooftop Garden

The Post Building in Holborn was previously the Royal Mail West Central District Office where mail was once sorted but the building was abandoned for over 20 years. With mail rail tunnels underground, parts of the old building were retained while new upper floors were added.

Spread across part of its roof on the 9th floor is a publicly-accessible garden which offers a good view of the city. The entrance is on the New Oxford Street side of the building. Show your ID for registration, go through the security check, and head up the dedicated lift to the roof.

With few tall buildings in the area, it's easy to peer to the roofs of neighbouring buildings.
