The area around Wembley Stadium is one of the country's largest regeneration areas. It is part of the overall Wembley development plan, which will deliver over 15,000 new homes. The plan's beginings go back to 2002 when the stadium was demolished. The Wembley Park area includes an outlet mall, hotels, civic centre, food market, and residential buildings clustered around the sports facilities. Olympic Way is the grand boulevard leading from the Underground station to the stadium with a vista over the development.
