Prague Castle Photo Gallery

Prague Castle was believed to have been founded in the 9th century and consists of a mix of Roman and Gothic architecture. As expected, the entrace is grand, with a huge square that was devoid of traffic.

Perched on the hillsides overlooking the city, the views are stunning already. But the best are yet to come.

St. Vitus Cathedral is a Gothic construction dating from the 14th century. However, it sat through many centuries unfinished and it was only consecrated in 1929.

The observation area atop the cathedral offered one of the best views of Prague. So many bright roofs!

Back on the ground, there were also other towers and exhibitions to visit.
