Quanzhou Photo Gallery - City Scenes

From the Confucius Temple, I decided to walk down Zhongshan Road for about 2km to reach the Tianhou Temple at the old city's southern edge. The street was lined with short rowhouses with lots of local shops and few pedestrians. There aren't any historic attractions en route but burned a good amount of calories.

After visiting the Tianhou Temple, and tired, I saw some golf carts that could take me back to the main clock tower shopping area for only 2 yuan. I immediately made the right decision to hop on.

I soon returned to a bustling shopping area with a lot more tourists.

I continued along West Street, which is now lined with shops and small restaurants, towards my last stop of the day, Kaiyuan Temple.
