Reading Photo Gallery - Green Park

Green Park's masterplan was initially designed by Foster and Partners in the 1990s based on Silicon Valley. Their vision was to place buildings near newly-created ponds. Some 9000 employees work in the business park, while the residential section is taking shape next to the new train station. Reading Green Park station opened on May 27, 2023, connecting this new area with Basingstoke and Reading's main train station at roughly 30 minute frequencies. It is Reading's first new train station since 1906, and it's only a 6 minute ride into the centre, and from there, the fastest trains reach Paddington in 25 minutes.
