The Museum of Berkshire Aviation is located at the former Woodley Airfield near Reading. Opened in 1929, the site built and tested over 6000 aircraft until it closed in the 1960s.Today's museum is a hidden gem packed with all sorts of artifacts in the small space, as well as a Handley Page HPR-7 Dart Herald plane in BEA colours parked outside that first flew in 1959.
