Sydney Photo Gallery - Wolli Creek

Wolli Creek is a new highrise community within a short ride from both the airport and the city centre. Some 1000 units were built around the train station, which also incorporated several historic buildings in the vicinity.

Tempe House was built in 1836 by colonial architect John Verge in the Neo-Classicial Georgian style. It once housed a school for young ladies and a refuge for women.

It is only a 15 minute ride to Town Hall. You seem to be in the middle of nowhere, although you can still hear planes taking off from the nearby airport, which is just 2 minutes by train.
