Introduction

Pattaya is a tourist resort located 147 km south of Bangkok. In this 1960's, Pattaya was a favourite city for American GI's for its girly-bars and raucous nightlife. Today, tourists come for the beach and many water sports.

Koh-Lan

Koh-Lan is located 7.5 kilometres off Pattaya. The 2 km. x 5 km. island offers several white sandy beaches such as Hat Ta Waen, Hat Laem Thian and Hat Thong Lang. Most of the tour boats make anchor to take advantage of the foodshops and stalls along these beaches. Many water activities are available, from parachute sailing, glass-bottom boat sightseeing, to scuba diving along the coral reefs nearby.
