For photos of the terminal facilities, refer to this page.

Terminal 3 has the great diversity of airlines - pretty much anything that is not Air Canada or the Star Alliance. Some of the more exotic visitors include Biman Bangladesh, Emirates, Pakistan, Saudi Arabian, and Azores.

Terminal 1 - Air Canada & Star Alliance airlines

Pearson has 3 east-west and 2 north-south runways. Having served almost 45 million passengers in 2023, there is a lot of activity on the tarmac.

During Toronto's long and cold winters, de-icing takes place on the tarmac in a centralized area. They're used to winter conditions so the whole process is very organized and structured with a capacity to handle 500 aircraft a day. De-icing fluid that runs off the aircraft drain into special outlets to be recycled and kept away from the natural environment.
