Little Canada is a miniature world inspired by Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg. The dream began in 2011 when the founder reached out to model railway clubs for help. This 2 floor attraction across from Yonge-Dundas Square is still growing with more sections due to open in the coming years. The journey starts at Niagara Falls, a 2 hour drive from Toronto. A moving Maid of the Mist greets you as you weave through the bend to see the most beautiful part of the falls.
Weekend GO Train service has been brought to the area although the station is not near the main attractions area.
It is possible to walk or drive across Rainbow Bridge to the United States. The journey offers lovely views of the Canadian side's skyline and the falls.
Further north, Niagara-on-the-Lake has an Old World charm where you can sample some of the region's fine wines.
The whole exhibit experiences day and night lighting.
