Azabudai Hills is a large new redevelopment project that opened in November 2023. Encompassing over 8 hectares, it features an upscale shopping mall with both indoor and outdoor sections, a 64-storey office tower, and 2 residential skyscrapers. It is expected to house 3500 people and 20,000 office workers.
Inside, the mall is beautifully-designed catering for the more upscale crowd.
A large crowd was trying to head up to the free observation deck on the Mori JP Tower's 33rd floor, which offers a commanding view of nearby Tokyo Tower. The building is Japan's new tallest building, rising to 330m. I had visited just days before the policy changed to allow only restaurant customers and lounge members to have access.
