Toucheng Photo Gallery

Toucheng was a prosperous town during the Qing Dynasty, servicing nearby Wushi Harbour. Some of its old temples and brick buildings remain today.

You will likely pass through here en route to other attractions in the Yilan area. Buses to Lanyang Museum and Wushi Harbor depart from Toucheng's railway station, so do make a short stop here for a non-touristy historic experience.

To modernize its historic image, murals have been added to a number of buildings along the historic streets.
