Welcome to the Verona Photo Gallery

Verona was my pit stop as I headed back from Venice to Milan for the flight home. Only about an hour from either city by train, Verona became prosperous thanks to its location along the trade routes from Germany and Austria. Today, it retains plenty of history to see but without the throngs of tourists and overpriced traps that nearvy Venice is known for. For Shakespeare fans, take note that Romeo and Juliet's story was set here but they never lived here.
