Chapman Valley

With over 12,000 species of wildflowers in the state, spring is the perfect time to visit to see them bloom. Just a short drive out of Geraldton along Chapman Valley Road are industrial canola fields as well as wildflower beds. The tourist hordes are nowhere to be seen here and you will likely have the road mostly to yourself.

There are no official flower viewing spots or parks. Just drive along and when you see something interesting, pull over and explore. I spotted a car stopped on the side of the road and followed along. I was not disappointed.

After a short visit here to view flowers, head back to the main road and continue north towards the Pink Lake.
