Yeosu Photo Gallery

Elsewhere in the city, Dolsan Park was created in 1987 and is worth a visit for the views and also the cable car. I started with Dolsan Bridge next to it.

After walking the bridge, head up a long staircase to reach the park's observation point.

Then grab a cable car across the water back to the city.

The cable car passes above the suspension bridge, and you can see Dolsan Bridge in the background as well.

I just walked the breakwater earlier today.

Infrastructure improvements continue, with this elevator platform being built so you don't need to take the staircase back downhill.

From the cable car, continue uphill to Jasan Park. This building has an observation deck which doesn't seem to be widely known at all.

Yeosu is quite spread out, so you will likely need to use public transport during your stay. Riding the bus is a bit of a challenge if you don't speak Korean.

Back downhill, Jinnamgwan Hall was a naval base during the Joseon Dynasty. Burnt down during the Japanese invasion in the 17th century, a replacement residence with 75 rooms was built instead.

Another short walk downhill is the coast. The turtle ship is open to the public to see what life was like on these military vessels.
