Beyond Greater england Series - Seven Sisters

Seven Sisters Country Park to the east of Brighton occupies a beautiful piece of coastline with chalk cliffs overlooking the sea. Getting here is quite easy, with a car park at Birling Gap and also the very limited 13X bus from Brighton or Eastbourne. You can descend down to the beach here and see the cliffs up close, then climb up along the hills for a view from above.

It's an easy climb and I decided to go all the way to the lighthouse at Beachy Head, which is 530 feet high with panoramic views everywhere. Beachy Head Road runs mostly parallel to the hike and there are paid parking lots along this stretch of scenic coastline.

There are few barriers along the cliffs so do take care as you explore the views and take pictures.
