Oslo would likely be your start and finish point for your epic Norway adventure. The city has some nice modern architecture and Nobel Prize-related sights to enjoy, but don't over-allocate your time here. Norway is famous for its spectacular nature after all. The capital since the 14th century, Christiania was named after the king of Denmark and Norway responsible for rebuilding it after a fire. The name stayed until 1924 when it was decided to revert back to Oslo.
