Seoul Photo Gallery - The New Noryangjin Fish Market

Just steps from Yeouido's modern skyscrapers, Noryangjin is the country's largest wholesale fish market, serving some 30,000 customers daily. A new building opened next to the original market from 1971 in late 2015, although some vendors protested that the new stalls are too small and rents too expensive. The upstairs floor has restaurants where you can bring the fresh seafood from the market for them to cook, as well as dried seafood shops.
