Seoul Photo Gallery - Myeong-dong

The set of narrow streets that make up Myeongdong have long been known for shopping and street food, and has become a tourist mecca. Its commercial history goes back to the late 19th century when Chinese merchants came to supply the army. They eventually sold silk here and set up Western-style tailor and barber shops that became popular.
