Ulan Lake

After a wild 30 minute ride up and down the sand dunes that makes even the most seasoned traveller nauseous, we pulled into a big parking lot full of off-road vehicles. I started questioning whether I could make it to the 5th lake.

Ulan was the busiest lake of them all with a huge crowd enjoying the water's reflections. There were plenty of drones buzzing overhead as there is a business to create videos of your visit.

However, the lake next to the parking lot is nothing compared to the others on the side that you can't easily walk to. That's when the drone comes in handy. The highlight is the blood-red heart-shaped lake.
