Brussels photo gallery

My impression of Brussels being a boring and bureaucratic place blew away under beautiful blue skies. This is not just a stopover en route to more beautiful medieval towns further beyond. I first came in 2005 but went away disappointed because of the weather. Almost 20 years later, I returned and had a much better experience.

Brussels is a good stop if you're touring Paris and Amsterdam as they're all connected by high-speed train. Even the journey from London is very reasonable and Belgium has a lot to offer that can easily keep you busy for a week.
