Major Bus Events in 2022 (2nd Half) - Sham Shui Po Festival

A number of vintage cars and old buses were put on display at this one-day event in Fa Hui Park. 2 particular retired buses stole the show. The red AEC Regent served with Kowloon Motor Bus from 1963-1987. This particular vehicle used to run route 2B between Kwun Tong and Mongkok and retired in 1985. The yellow Atlantean is among the first batch of buses procured by Citybus when they won 28 island and cross-harbour routes in 1993. This was one of a batch of 101 Singaporean buses with #633 exhibited here. Next door are 2 newer buses, both electric buses that have only started appearing in the city recently.
